Palisade, Colorado may be famous for it’s peach orchards, but the arealos has a huge lavender crop. You will find fields of beautiful purple flowers blooming in each summer. The distinctive scent and gorgeous fields are perfect for photos and some serious aromatherapy. As a mom all I can think of is what a great photo backdrop this would be. Look at those colors. And the mountain backdrop. Is it bad to plan a vacation focused on family photos?!
